A gay is all right. It's the properly labelled gays that are putting in an effort to make a difference; website maker I'm talking to you. Yes the natural order is between male and female, but some of us choose to be gay because it's a choice, it ain't morally wrong to be gay. I doubt that it would give you AIDS, it doesn't give you AIDS, that's a myth. Me and my little brother used to be gay, and we're perfectly good people. Gayness feels good, a taste of a man when you're a man feels good, every self-respecting gay is a person-on-person, no bestiality, no rape, and not being a pain in the arse. We're all gay, and a gay is part of the solution, a homophobe is the virus, since a homosexual is a person and thus deserves to live in the community like any regular person; disability rights have just as good ground for logic: a disabled person can do anything it sets its mind to, deserves happiness, dignity, freedom, liberty and confidence just like you, and so does a homosexual.

Ann Marie, thanks for reading and, especially, for letting me know it helped a bit.

Good for you for standing with your son in what has to be a difficult time for him.

Thank you , my son is gay . I wont lie it was a shock when he told me but more because as a Mum you only want to keep your child safe . I have always said ( way before I even became a Mum ) that people will always find a difference i.e. taller , smaller , pink socks , blue socks ....
I have also thought it was pointless trying to reason with such people .
Your comments have give me back hope, knowing right minded people are out there . Blacks , women, Jews all continue to battle for their rights and in the main they are winning ! Its only right Gay people stand up for their place in this world that belongs to all of us.

<I>"And so it goes until the group is homogeneous enough to exchange organs without tissue typing."</I>

That is a classic line. Im definatly stealing it. On the flip side, though, I have found that even the most exclusive groups are anxious to include people they personally like - I like to call it the Huckleberry Finn syndrome (He's not one of them n-----s, he's my friend). It's not perfect, but at least it's a start.
