The joke is on me

When I wrote a piece years ago called “Are women human? [1]” that title was supposed to be funny. Or at least tongue-in-cheek [2].

I didn’t think the answer was “no.”

But it’s official. Corporations are human. Now even with religious beliefs [3]! Woohoo!

And women? They’re just non-artificial ambulatory uterine incubators. What’s the point of rights for a mass of blood vessels that’s a waste of space unless it’s feeding babies?

Actually, strike that “ambulatory.” Incubators are easier to use when they’re not wandering around loose. That’ll be the next decision by the Five Guys:

It’ll be entirely consistent when they come to it. They’ve never cared that some rights are essential for the others to have any meaning at all [5]. That’s because they’ve never cared about rights, except the kind might makes. Controlling your own body is up there at Right Number One. No other right means anything if other people can do whatever they want to you. The Five Guys just knocked the whole structure down.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, dissenting [6]. “The court, I fear, has ventured into a minefield.”

Great article. Thank you. The “Five Guys” strongly remind me of one particular guy I came to despise during my mandatory church attending days of childhood. My pastor seemed to think and promote the idea that all women are personal slaves for men, sperm receptacles, and baby-makers. It is preposterous that this insane belief system currently dictates laws governing half our population.

Especially preposterous in a country with a founding principle of seapration of belief and state.

They don’t really think their “God” gave women the gift of life. They think he gave it to men, but women are just for men’s personal use and are not important in and of themselves. It’s as offensive, sick and evil as it is possible for a belief system to be.

From what I’ve observed of human “society” all my life I am convinced that men should not be in any positions of leadership or authority over women, in families or on the wider societal level. We need control over our societies’ laws and policies so that those may allow us control over our own bodies and lives. Once women have taken charge and society is rendered woman centered, then men may be allowed to hold offices, but not before.

As to women who betray women, ally with men against us, are anti abortion, etc. – they ally with men because they perceive men to be the winners and they want to get in good with the powerful. It’s despicable to betray your own kind in that way. Their behavior may change once they perceive it is women who are winning. If it doesn’t, they will be marginalized and powerless in female society, and their views will become more and more minority with each passing generation. That’s why women who say it’s not important to elect women to office because hey, Michelle Bachmann, are WRONG. Women and only women are the key to women’s liberation, men will not do it for us.
